Any word on this?? my friend is about to purchase a set of these cams?? should i be telling him not to, as hes building an epic 5e with all the trimmings the last thing he needs is for the engine not to make power because of the cams i recommended to him!!! Cheers Paul

How do you reset the error codes on the ECU then?? Ive just done a Glanza V conversion into non Turbo ep91, and the engine cranks over but im getting no spark or anything...thinking its the ECU... Any help, would be great!!! Paul

It has been done, a guy here in Australia put it into his EP91. We cant get glanzas etc here because of import laws so he went this way and also put a glanza nose cut on as well. Good conversion, but as said before wouldnt do it to a Turbo glanza.:)

What mods are required to do this?? plenty of SRs here in Aus so would be no probs getting one, just curious as to how to do it....also how do you get the fhe manifold to work properly...?? Thanks.

You can recaro seat rails to suit starlets off yahoo auctions japan, no welding bolt up and put into you starlet/glanza... :)

You need equal length driveshafts. With factory LSD the gearbox housing is different and extends into the middle of the car. Thus the need for equal length driveshafts.

You need the driveshafts as well. With factory Glanza/EP82's LSD's they run equal length driveshafts. Whereas standard are unequal. :)

Gee get a 5spd AE111 box and change the bellhousing to a starlet one. The diff ratio in the gearbox is a 4.3 rather than the 3.9 of the starlet. This would help in acceleration but would not be the best for highway cruising.

Im looking on Yahoo auctions for some aftermarket discs that they have on there. If i use a disc from the AE111 there are different models are they all the same...?? Or should i look at just getting the AE101... HELP....:(

The gearboxs are the same, all you need to do is change is the bellhousing to a 4e/5e one. :)

By having the 8mm spacer doesnt that push the wheel out??? Or is the disc from the AE101 a different offset to the starlet disc?? cheers Paul

Bingo!!! If you leave all the RPM settings to 0 then nothing will change, so go and drive it to get it tuned.

If you want a good upgrade on starlet and still want to keep it in the toyota family then the brakes off a AE111 Levin superstrut are the way to go. 2 pot calipers as well as a larger diameter disc. Fit pretty much straight onto a starlet. Check it out. :)

And BANG goes your engine!! Anything thats that simple isnt going to work, maybe look at a spare engine because your going to blow the one you have if your not careful. Look into proven mods that are done time and time again- exhaust, air filter and an actuator. These mods should see you have...

Why do you want brand new??? Find a glanza box and get it rebuilt using all toyota parts, and while your at it put in a TRD LSD as you could do both for the price of getting a brand new AND STANDARD glanza box from Toyota. :)

At the wheels is where it counts!!:p I reckon you'll be looking at about 125-130 at the wheels. If you had a manifold + dump pipe around 155 at the wheels.

I used blow torch as well (oxy) and got it off that way. Well in my opinion its the only way to go. With a proper wheel alignment, you'll find that there is less wheel spin (but on a starlet you can never have no wheel spin lol) and you'll find that your positive castor will make for a better...

Agree. One of the best mods on a starlet, makes the gearbox feel like a gearbox!!
