i went out again yesterday to try and figure this out and i turned the evc off completely and it would boost to 0.6 bar perfect with no pulsating on just wastegate pressure but when i turned it back on would pulse straightaway even at low boost which is set at 0.66bar. so im thinking its either...

Opened up the solenoid today and there was an o ring around the top of the stepper motor that looked like it has stretched and had better days so i replaced it with a new one and will see tomorrow if it sorts the problem If not i have been told to look at the offset settings

Yeah was set up while getting mapped, can't see how they could of got it wrong though as it boosts fine on normal roads and holds just under a bar perfect it is literally as soon as i touch the motorway it does not like it at all
