    Rev counter out of sync / jumping around

    I’ve been having problems recently with my Ep82 Rev counter , it would sit out of sync at 1k revs when the car was turned off and when the imobilsier was de activated it would jump up to 2k revs but would still work correctly but just display higher revs than it should. I tried taking the needle...

    just curious.. i have an aging motor so i never push it that hard. actually i can count how many times i've been over 5.5k revs :) so just wondering, the OEM redline is at ~7.2k. at what point does the rev limiter kick in..? 8k..? 8.5k..? of course this is on the assumption of a nearly stock if...
