well funny you say this i spent over £1200 on my p-reg clio 1.2 rl with 70000 miles and this was parts only. engine, clutch, all 4 wheel bearings front and rear brakes, axle shocks and springs, alternator, starter, lights due to internall electrical faults, window regulators, 2 exhaust systems manifold gasket am a mechanic and again i replaced and alternator on a 54 plate scenic 2 which the front end had to come off. and im replacing the engine on a 54 plate trafic because it shat its load and blew a hole in the crankcase. and what am i doing tomorrow? thats right mot repairs on yet another BROKEN renault. so now you cant say they dont break. and no im not a renault main dealer. independant garage . you must have a very special renault there could well be a guiness world record. i love heated arguements lol love you guys really :p

lol this is hardly in the same league as a 1.2 clio :p

who cares "if" it breaks... its a race car on the road!!!! :)

Haha yeah, i know what you mean mate. But i suppose any car breaks. Its like my grandparents swear by ford, but i wont touch them with a 10foot pole and every friend ive known whos owned a ford has had massive problems, same with Vauxhall..etc and dont even get me started with vauxhall......

F*ckit i tell you what...........lets just stick with jap stuff.!!
How about that then for a suggestion eh? lol

Ive had the priviledge of being passenger in one of these in the early nineties round a chalk quarry, Ive yet to experience anything quite like it.

Theres a few vids on my youtube folks, of a groub B quattro round stormont castle, and a 205 T16 too, a tender moment ill treasure forever!

...most of us wouldnt even handle the thing, i hold my hands up and say i would probably last about 10 minutes before smashing the thing up, it takes alot of skill to race or drive one of these.....fast.

hows about racing against a girl in one though???? would that level the playingfield? (totally in jest btw)

not sure why everyone keep nocking the renaults realiabilty? problem is u ge alot of young kids who think they can turn the boost up. with out fuelling mods ect. = blown engine ect.

^^^ no lies.

Norn iron is testament to this. There are farrrrrr too many new Glanza owners in norn iron, who are rapidly depleting the countrys supply of engines doing exactly this, and thus the good rep forged over years by reputable members quickly goes down the pan
