Hey mate, Ive followed your car closely and Ive got a lot of respect for it. Im certainly not trying to upstage you with a td04. I just think it should be reasonable to get at least an 11.9 with it. Imagine maxing out a td04 on your setup. I think it would be a lot quicker then what is conventionally known for td04's. At the end of the day im not chasing times hard really. Circuit is what matters to me which is why the td04s there in the first place. Nice to have a goal though :)[/QUOTE]

cheers man
yea am not thinking like that at all mate,i used to run a td04 at 1.6 bar! went seriously wel! i hadnt a diff at the time but i now no meself with decant gearing suspension, diff, and good tyres! and fully lightend it,it would of been unreal to go. this is a route most dont go,but infact its probly a better route..lol

intresting

Sadly it looks like this plan has been postponed, maybe permanently.

Dont know if you guys saw on the news over there but we've had some serious floods come through qld. Fearless and I lost our starlets under 12m of river and member zuboo lost everything.

Mud is in EVERY crevice though.

Still nothing compared to zuboo. Poor guy lost everything he owned.

Well I can finally dig this up I guess. Finally sorted the car out after the floods.

The car made 190hp @ 17psi a few weeks ago. I was a little disappointed but you get that with a td04 and I'm back on std cams now too. I upped it to 22psi and made 195hp so back it went to 17. Very safe tune with hardly any timing. Feels very slow but hopefully I can work on setup/driving on the circuit to make up the time and still have a reliable car.

Tried going circuit racing the saturday before last but it poured down rain at QR. Lined up lakeside last friday and it poured down again. I decided, screw it, ill go drag racing. So Wednesday night drags for some slow ass fun. Got in about 9 runs tonight. mostly 12.8's with a 12.6 and finally a 12.5 @ 109mph with a crappy 1.87 60ft time. Got some vids but my gopro camera sucks. I didnt change springs or the setup at all from the circuit setup, so I think there's a 12.3 in it with this power. If I run the light weight panels than it may run an 11. Really don't care though. It was just good to be driving it. I drove it there, 9 straight runs and drove it home. :D

Im going to see how it goes on the circuit with this power. If its too slow I may change turbo or tune for e85, dont know yet. If I go e85 than ill have to go back to the strip to try for an 11.

Not the best vid but the only one that I remembered to turn the camera off and doesnt have 10min of me standing in the pits...

Thats a real good time for the power!

What tyres did you use? I assume its on a prepped strip?

Looks like an 11 is easily possible on a TD04!
