Let me correct myself.. I think your time is about right for a good driver ;) So yes in that sense, good time buddy! Any more plans for the car?

I td04 kit sitting around waiting to be fitted :)

I am looking into getting a set of slicks for the front as i have a spare set of wheels maybe lower psi on the front tyres and soften my coilovers on the front.
i want a even lower 14 with stock turbo also stripped out rear.

Your times really show how much of a difference the 60ft time makes:
http://www.crailraceway.co.uk/showdrag.php?RID=19&EVDate=2012-05-13

With a 2.4 60ft you did a 15.066 then with a 2.332 60ft it was down to the 14.625 - so more power won't help if you can't use it off the line as you'll struggle to make it back up.

I was down at Crail back in April and thought I was getting decent launches but the best 60ft I had was a 2.409 which still only gave me a 15.039 run but I do think my car is slighty down on power at the moment (from what it was in my sig) and your trap speeds are pretty much identical to mine too which would tend to agree with that.

You'll need to give everyone else a lesson in launching at banzai. ;)

Kinda depends how much more power though really... As if he was running 300BHP and got a 60ft of 2.4 i bet it would still be alot better then 14.6... I see what your trying to say though

0.6bar is standard boost not 0.72...

For 172bhp id say thats about right. But im probably completely wrong though as judging on a few others views thats really slow and would expect maybe a low 12 or high 11 with that power. So yeah i guess it just depends who you ask.

OT not a bad time. 60ft is quite slow. No lsd, crappy tires and what looks to be from your pictures, a very large amount of neg camber will all hurt you here. Everything is a sacrifice though. You run no camber, it wont take corners as well ect ect. For a street setup with that power, your about on it for times.

Cheers

Nice time lad, get her to a proper strip and no doubt you'll get into the 13s, will never get a decent 60ft on these tarmac only strips.

Had my first trip to crail today with a few others for tgtt carman, gary91, jordk and a few friends for a thrash day.

Having never done any drag racing my first time was 15.86 and i was a little bit... well i just did not know if it was good or not.
After 12 runs i put in a 14.625 which was my best time of the day :) The time will be on the crail web site in not too long so i will link it.

Front mounted filter
Front mounted intercooler
Jperformance decat
Japspeed cat back
Ash front mounted filter
Rota slip steams
Yoko paradas
Td04 actuator
Gizzmo ebc
standard ct9
0.72bar

Made 172bhp a few weeks ago at wallace performance, i did manage to beat a glanza running hybrid, 1.1bar, with trd lsd which ran a 14.7 lol

Any comments guys? good? avarage?

Hi, I'm Henry,

I have a standard internal and little mod 4efte with ct9 std with the piggyback and HKS actuator with 15psi boost. In dyno i've got 174 hp..i just wonder how you can get the 170+hp with standard boost..is it because of the fuel quality, btw i'm in Indonesia..my best time in quarter mile is 15.9..very bad compare to your time..just want to know what really makes the difference in your modification so can get 170 in 0.7 bar..thanks so much..
