Well we got some more tuning done today!! TD05 16G making 1.5bar before 4000 rpm!

We had to stop at that tho because the N/A inlet and Throttle body was getting restrictive and the fuel system needs more work!

Cheers lads we were starting to get pulsations in the fuel system, but the main thing was the N/A inlet and tb where starting to cause a restriction in the air flow so there next but till not till next year now but Im more than happy with it! I do like the 130whp to 226whp switch thats gooooood fun lol

Looking good mate, sounds epic as well.

How come the hp graph is tailing off pretty damn quick though? Or am I being a numpty?

We are maxing the injectors out at peak boost and fuel pressure oscillations show in the datalog in higher engine speed above 6000rpm The walbros can do 75psi-80psi reliably this ones struggling at 68+psi fuel pressure. So for mechanical sympathey and to ensure reliable operation of the engine I've used the tunable 5-dimentional boost control to reduce boost at the top of the rev range. Next stage for the car is a better fuel pump OR a secondary set of fuel injectors and secondary fuel rail. The ECU is more than capable of this.
When it was run holding the torque higher up fuel mixture and pressure became unstable.

This is what Will had to say Adam and the n/a inlet and t/b weren't helping too.

It's a forged 4efe mate

What injectors you using Rob?
Look at the Aeromotive fuel pumps mate, thats what I'm going to be using most likely. Running 2 fuel rails is a costly route to go down requring a completely custom intake, don't think anyone has ever run a secondary fuel system on a starlet have they?

I would expect to see some pretty signifcant gains by swapping out the N/A inlet and throttle body mate, that sort of boost pressure on a known turbo engine should be looking around 330fbhp, seem's like yours is a bit off the pace due to this.

Those figures are probably quite a bit less than other dynos would say too the dyno packs are not known for giving out big numbers lol. I'm running 440cc injectors on mine we were looking at the extra fuel rail system just becouse my ecu can run it wether we do or not is a different thing. I won't be doing much more at it now till next year other than the cosmetic stuff and playing with what it's got now, there's a bit more trimming on the map to do too but we run out of time at going on 9pm lol

Awesome turbo spool!!! What trigger system are you using bud? 60-2? And are you using multi coils?
Have a look at VW Combi 6bar fuel pump at your local autostore. We power most of the 2jzgte drift cars with them :)
Not sure what a Combi is called over seas though :p

So lets give the switch a name :D I vote, "Instant transmission"

cheers mate im using the AEM trigger wheel in a custom made trigger system I made, Im running honda K20 coil packs I will have a look at those fuel pumps as I think mine is on its way out!

Just make sure the wires you used on the trigger is the correct ones for a trigger and all solder joints are 100% and isolated nicely so that you do not get any interference.
But I am sure you know what you are doing.
You have PM on the pumps :)

Cheers mate all the sensor wiring is done using shielded wiring and all the rest is done in raychem race spec wiring so there should be no problems there lol the raychem stuff mega stuff its so light! just a shame all the old stuff is still in there too! but thats a job for another day!

congrats rob..
my Omex conversion should be done by my tuner soon, so you given a rough guide on power I make..
what fuel pump you using that's restrictive??
