I used wet and dry sand paper from a 1200 grit upto 2500 grit with WD40. I cut the sanding paper about a cm wide and 2 inches long and jus' sanded it down by hand. Then i got some polish and worked that over the cylinder head on a small polishing buff on the end of a rotary tool.

Looking good :)
Why did you not paint the block??
And watch out for to much sealant on the sump. If it peeled out a lot inside then it usually breaks of and clogs the oil pick-up.

Gear box looks good! but you could have taken off the rubber bits first LOL! Also did you spray directly into the alternator? or did you take the outer casing off first and then spray? I damaged mibe by just spraying into it :(
But over all man looks like the dogs bollox :) good on ya mate!

WoW, thanks for the comments, really appreciate it! :)

Skalabala, i could not be bothered to paint the block as the build was a long as wait from sourcing all the parts and waiting for them to arrive. Once they arrived i jus' wanted to make quick progress. The sealer on the sump looks excessive thats because i went around it with more sealer on the outside for extra security.

TurboTD04, the painting was a quick time thing, quick degrease then grey scotchbrite, truckwash, then jus' blasted the paint outta a rattle can building the paint up light to moderatley heavy giving the paint to dry 10 - 15 mins after each coat.

MarcoGTTurbo, the painting was a quick time job, not even close to the standard of work you have done on your GT :) I did not do any prep work as such and jus' went in rattle cans blazing. On the alternator i did not take the cover off, jus' filled the gaps up with some newspaper.
