5efe DIS head on my 4efte???

what will i need to swap in a 5efe dis head onto my 4efte. from what i have read they are exactly the same excapt one has the old distributor and rotor and one doesnt.

and if this is a stupid idea i.e. i will somehow lose power or it makes managing important things harder than let me know and i wont waste anymore time on this fantasy of getting rid of the cap and rotor

and the valve springs are weaker. so not as reliable at higher rpm but yes you can use it...

you'll need the ECU, the crank trigger sensor, the coil-on-plug...plugs, the intake manifold (different port shape) etc...

If you're not prepared to do the research to get it all done right, don't do it, its by far not a bolt-on prospect

This seems like the place to ask this question. I have a 4efe dis in my car, want to swap in a 5efe (w/ distributor). What will I need to get from my 4efe dis in order to work with the standard ecu?
