well ive bought a rough mk1 recently. its the only mk1 left in the netherlands. had been sitting in a barn for 6 years with a failed turbo. pretty much a barn find starlet lol :) going for a full factory resto project. gonna be a fun run around car nxt to the racer.
currently surrounded by 4 starlets and a lancer in my driveway.

somehow the dutch forum still has a lot of frequent users. has died down a little but still a good 50-ish posts a day

Its sad to see the forums going the way they are i was on here & UKSC numerous times Daily, one of the things i find with forums especially over here in North America is new people come onto the site and ask the usual Questions then are met by the uber pricks ready to fire them down with the use the search button that used to piss me off as that rubs new members the wrong way and we're supposed to be a community helping each other out with our builds giving advice, since leaving Scotland and moving to Canada i ended up working as a tech at Honda so i went to the Dark side i have a 98 civic si (north americas answer to type r) with a B16 thats gonna get transplanted to my 97 hatch and of course boosted but when looking on the Honda sites the whole attitude to people asking the beginner questions brings out the lynch mobs, and its like fucking seriously guys asking for help and gets flamed so to me thats probably one of the other reasons forums are on the decline.

User here from waaaay back on the old forum, I have been here maybe twice in the past 4 years. Had 11 cars since my last starbo currently driving the boat below.

However whenever I find myself window shopping for another car I seem to end up looking what's available in the market as far at starlets go!

I can honestly say that to date my EP82 is the most fun per £ spent of any car I have owned! This includes both the RX7 and MR2 turbo I had, and once me and the Mrs have got our first home sorted we plan on having another as a joint project car. It does make me sad to come back here and see such little activity but I can appreciate people will have moved onwards an upwards over the years (or heaven forbid become more sensible!)

I think all the long term members remember cal! and whatever happened to Idrees?

In the meantime I hope all of you guys are doing well!

Idrees is still active he owns and runs idworkz, parts supplies for starlets and not looked in a while but think he sells parts for other makes and models also, and think he's on the UKSC rip off site, someone else who is active on that site maybe can confirm that.
