After longg time... this forum still alive??

Have to agree on the social media bit, I prefer a proper forum.

Although not massively active myself on any forums tbh, just thought I'd pop in for old times sake but still tgtt is the place I look first for info :)

I'd agree, good ones are getting scarcer. If you have one for sale and can afford to just stick her in the shed until you get the notion for one again. The number of peeps who sell up and regret it is very high!

I still visit here occasionally as still might find myself back in a starlet one day.. but yeah forums just aren't what they were which is a shame.

Nice to see old but familiar names still posting though.

Yeah the old girl is overdue a rebuild. The cogs are turning just not very quickly at the minute due to work constraints.

Will keep you all posted on progress as it happens.

I've also noticed that generally forums are dying down. Facebook is probably killing them all off, but good to see this one is still going :)

Go drive your German tank elsewhere.... ;)

Aloha chaps - Managed to reset my password, was looking through my garage pictures the other night in a blurred state, told the mrs we're buying another starlet.. However I was soon shotdown and woke up hungover.

Aw - DENIED! :haha:

My advise is that if you see a cheap one (even a rough one) and you have the space buy it and build it slowly. They are getting rare now and a good one is even rarer!

Yeah a couple of years ago the prices really seemed to slump, noticed there was rough ones selling for around about 1K mark. Hopefully purchasing bricks and motor in the next couple of months, with either garage and/or drive space - So I'll have to have a little project!
