are theyre much power gains with relocation filter?

you have any boost creep problems?

thanks
dave

not really any power gains but the throttle response improved greatly and it is alot smoother to drive and the air going into the turbo is actually cold compared to warm engine heat.

i never got creep when i moved the filter.i was one of the lucky ones.

yeah yhryre meant to be a great job! but heard most people get boost creep and dont want the hastle of finding a local garage tha knows what porting a westgate is:haha:

jus looked at your members garage there lovely build exact same as i intend 180bhp mark ill give ya a beep if im ever in sligo and spot ya round:drive:

when i get a few bits done 2 my yoke mite call up if your having al ittle mini meet or that would be nice 2 chat to a few boys that actually know more to modifying than slappin 17s on:haha:

When you wash it i wouldnt direct the hose/pressure washer towards the filter or in that area.
I used to do it myself rather than at a car wash, much less chance of accidents ;)

just be cautious and you'l b fine! :D

I gotta K&N air filter cover fully breathable and water proof i would use one of these so you dont get your filter filthy and saves it getting wet in the good old british weather

Why did you get rid then? Relocating the filter wont give you any power gains really dude....
