autobahn bumper cut out??

hi all im having loads of trouble withmy bumper mk1 with the autobahn fmic ive cut loads of room for the pipe work but it still doesnt fit properly its pissing me off!! do i need to cut out for the actual cooler? seems to be catching v.slightly didnt reallty wnt to do this tho commnts appreciated its doing my head in!!!!

lol lenny you should have got a wepr like me:D and do you still want that bit for the dv??i never had to chop out any of my bumper:D

would like matey ur further away than i thought tho!!! nightmare this fmic, the only thing that seems to b stopping it is the cooler itself oh well evo is on the cards v.soon!!

can u take a pic of were its catching i only had to cut out the bottom for the piping for mine mate and i got mk1 too ?

i cant find my bloody cable for my phone! it just wont go back on properly its not hitting on the pipework can only be the cooler itself but if yours has gone ok its worrying. its as if the cooler is slighly too low but it cant be as its bracketed on both sides i have to really pull the bumper to get it to fit under thewheel arch on 1 side and it laves about a 10mm gap any ideas?? cheers btw

not really mate its hard without seeing it! there should be loads of room for the cooler? mine sits at least 4 inches away from the front! have u cut out the big square in the bumper?

just cut the bumper where needed, ive got mk1 too and the cooler core does poke out of the bottom of the bumer. must be a mk1 thing because GT_Elaine's cooler fits nice and snug in her mk2

Only becuse we hacked the life out of it lol

You just need to keep cutting a bit at a time till it fits :)
