Tried various things in the past and never found anything that great.

What do people suggest that will stay put on the bearing and last without drying out?

I hate a squeaky, horrible feeling clutch!

Like skiny said, lithium greese or good old farmer greese as we call it is great stuff I use it for loads including keeping rust away. I also have a ptfe greese that I use called Superlube that is great.

I usually put a layer of superlube down then a bit of lithium over it for places where the greese seems to disappear. The superlube stuff is compatible with other greeses
