td04l - 1.5bar by 3800
vf28 - 1.5bar by 4250

There's worse spooling cars out there, but they also tend to have a bigger engine when off boost so still retain some preboost power.

Does it really feel that bad? Like no power then boom?
Sorry if i sound critical just intrested :)

What on earth do people expect from an 18g on a 1300cc engine? lol, an 18g is laggy on a 2,0 subaru....

most subaru owners are pompus though lol, they want instant full boost, when they say lag they mean like 3k to hit full boost lol

my legnum vr4 hits 10psi by like 2800 rpm, the torque is awesome but it make the car feel dull to drive, a bit of lag adds alot of fun IMO (key word being "abit")

my mx5 is was more fun with the vf28 on than a td04 even though i could of made the same power the the td04 (and i did tempoaraly) the vf28 just seem the suit my driving style better

Thanks I think?

If you have lag you are in the wrong gear, adjust your driving style to suit.

My scoob doesnt get a wriggle on until about 4.5k then it hits over 2.1 bar and takes off :D But I know most 18gs are like 3.4-4k on a scoob, so that translated onto a starlet, its gonna be horrid...
