More and more developers are using long video scenes in the game,i think its a good idea and splits the game up. Another example is mgs4, the videos told the story,its looking like this game is the same

Got it for 360, wanted it for pc but not out til next month Tis a good game, nice bit of gore, graphics could be better, don't like texture pop in etc. Must be the U3 engine because it happens with mass effect as well. Not played online yet but its more of a realism and tactics game, no run and gun etc. I'm sure it will be fun to play as a squad with your mates online though
