C52 Mount bolt size

Hey guys, Im installing a non GT manual c52 gearbox in my auto GT EP82. Since the manual box is not a GT box it doesn't have the three bolt holes to hold the LH mount. Does anybody know what size bolt it is and how deep the holes are so I can drill and tap some in there?

Which model did the manual box come from?

Both auto and manual Starlet boxes (both 4EFE and 4EFTE) should have the bolt holes.

Hey Jay,

I'm not sure what model starlet it came from but could find out from the wreckers. It has the mount across the top but I need it on the front side.IMG_4776.jpeg

Doesn't look like a starlet mount at all.

Should have a spare box I can take a few measurements from later mate.

question, have you tried to fit this box to your engine as yet? as i queried previously, could it be an AE series gearbox?
i'd suggest you check that bellhousing against your block or a spare

the 4a c52 gearbox can work on the starlet ep82/91...but it needs the front bellhousing changed and you have to drill 3 holes and get the required mounting bracket from past discussions

I had a look today and by looking at it I don't think it will fit. I have just brought a GT box that came up for sale so I will install that one and keep it simple.

Hey guys,

Do any of you know if the rubber mount on the LH side is the same for auto and manual boxes? I'm using the auto mount but the holes are out when I go to fit the manual gearbox bracket? Just wondering if there's a difference or not.
