i have a standard 5e with a 2e 12v carburetor on it and i want to turbo charge it with a ct9 and only run 5psi. i want to kno if the 2e carburetor would give it enough gas to run 5 psi only???

i would very much doubt the carb fitted to that engine is suitable for turbocharging. you could mess about changing the carb, but you would be better off changing the whole engine.

You could turbo it by making it a suck through system...
But I wouldn't bother with it.
If you have the extra cash then go to an injection set up.

i am planning on adding a turbo to my carburated engine (A draw-through setup).. it would be interesting to know if Convict ever went ahead with his idea

A "draw through" works tremendously well. You do not need an intercooler for it, but you will need a computer to manage the timing.
Or a distributor made for boost.

carburated cars don't usually come with computer.. that would be a lot of conversion
