Hey Guys,

So i have called up local toyota garage about my exhaust system. Its was a bomb over 500 pounds for full system. Asked about Cat converter and found out its no longer in production and now I dont know where to look for one. Part number starts with 2550 - **** something.

My question is where can I get cheap parts for exhaust and cat converter. Or which cat converter would be suitable since they are no longer in production ?

Please help and thanks to all in advance.

Just stick a universal sports cat in the exhaust somewhere.
You would just need to get under the car and measure up. The cat ideally needs to be as close to the outlet of the turbo as possible.

A second hand one would be a cheaper option TBH. Fire a thread up in the wanted section and see if anyone is hiding one. They are usually removed for power gains and so long as you aren't running too rich emissions are passable during the UK MOT.

You don't need a CAT, just put in a straight through pipe. Dont need CATs for MOT, just a myth. As Jay says as long as the emissions are not too rich it should be fine. I've a Blitz decat in mine, and it passes every year.

You can get penty on ebay, or on here.
