CAT gut

Ok, so I found the tutorial to gut the cat, thanks for that one. But will the gutted cat not effect my sensor in any way or let any warning sensors go off? Is there anything else I should do or expect or do I just empty it out and put it back together? I am running a straight 53mm pipe from CAT to a very free wlowing back box.

All the relative sensors are before the cat so as its not going to back up gasses it wont throw any faults up.

Thanks, just spoke to mechanic again and he say's the CAT has 2 boxes or something and cant gut the cat due to sensor? Can that be?

Iv gutted my cat and have no warning lights is a brilliant mod to do and so easy as you can separate it in two to empty it .

Thanks guys. Told mechanic this morning to just gut it at my own risk, he did so this afternoon and seems no probs or lights. Thanx.
