Check engine light probs

Hi,

i have probs with my check engine light,sometimes it turns on and sometimes it stays off for a very long time when i want to turn on the car,so if the light is off the car cannot start,i have checked the ecu fuse and the ecu itself also and its ok,what should i do now?Today i nearly turned the contact key 30 times and it didnt light on !!!Getting crazy with it !!!Thanks for helping me guys...

Have you got a immobliser on the motor as this has happend with me and was to do with the immobilser not turning off propley?? Also check your lamba sensor could be lose!!!
