My clutch makes a squeeking noise and somebody suggested it would be the clutch bearing has buggered. Is this a big job and where could i get a replacement bearing ?

you mean when you press the clutch pedal? its a common problem with the linkage setup on the starlets. both my starlets do it. the GT not so much as its all been off, cleaned and greased.

you can spray a bit of wd40 down the clutch fork while getting someone to operate it and it can get rid of it. usually comes back though

as for how hard is it to do. its a gearbox out job. may as well stick a new clutch in while our at it and a rear main crank seal if you suspect it to be seeping

Nah its like when the find the "biting point" in clutch control it can squeek when you let the clutch out.
When i bought the car it said it had an uprated clutch but maybe because its an advance it has an LSD? any way of checking without taking it all apart lol

you mean too check for a lsd ? jack one wheel up off of the floor and try turning it .

or jack both sides of the car up and turn one front wheel . if the opposite wheels turns in the opposite direction of which your turning it , it has no lsd if they both turn the same way it has a lsd .
