clutch master cylinder removal

as above think mines gone been trying to bleed clutch all day an cant get any fluid down to the slave nipple. how on earth do i access the top bolt on the master to remove it? can't seem to get a socket/spanner anywhere near the nut :mad:

Been a long time since I've had to do one of those but I remember it was painful. If I get a chance I'll have a look at one during the week and pass on my thoughts.

i had the unfortunate job of changing mine few weeks ago. i had to remove the whole pedal and used the open end of a spanner. i drilled and tapped my new one so i could unbolt it next time from the engine bay.
 
yeah its a painful process as you have to be in a very uncomfortable position laying on the floor on your back while trying to turn the nut

i think you may need to disconnect the clutch/clip/bracket from the pedal to give you a little more room

i did it a while back,,,,so cant remember exactly what i did

i KNOW for sure we cut the two long bolts on the new unit for sure before we installed, as it saved a ton of time when bolting it back up.....those two bolts are just way too long and serve no real purpose except to give you back pain and make you swear
