Coolant hoses

I recently purchased autobahn 88 coolant hose set off eBay as advertised glanza v ep91 4e-fte. When going to fit the hoses the nite I found that the lower hose is completely wrong in shape an length!! Is this a uk spec hose that received or what??

I think the autobox hoses are a different shape Ricky, I can check next time I have the bonnet up (probably within the next 24brs!)

Thanks jay, my bro had said he thinks it cud be for uk spec ep91, the hose is just completely wrong. Sure let me know. Ill hav to get a run down to ya sometime!!

The hose sorta points in the direction of the bottom corner of rad on passenger side of car and not in middle roughly where my civic rad outlet is!!

Is that not the right position for a stock rad

No I'm thinkin it's for a stock rad out of n/a uk spec, comparing the hose to stock one from my standard glanza v rad it's completely wrong. Plus output for glanza rad is in the centre iirc

the rad connections on the uk and jap spec rads are the same. only the length is different.

Oh rite thot they were different but the hose is completely shorter than the one I've got so I take its the uk spec hose I think?!

Just had a look.

Automatics have a different thermostat housing. It points to the radiator instead of the regular manual version which points to the battery.

Probably to allow clearance of the autobox dipstick.

See now that you say that thermostat housing points towards the rad sorta makes sense lookin at the pics I took!! Don't know how to put pics up on here in proper size unless I cud email them to ya see wat u think??

I recommend you just complain to whoever you bought them off mate, you can't modify the auto hose to fit reliably.

Yeah I've emailed them send that bottom hose is wrong so waitin to hear back unless ur interested in rad hoses lol. Ill email ya the pics now chum

That definitely looks like my auto coolant hose Ricky so I'd guess that's where the confusion has been.
