CT12 Turbo upgrade

hey,

My ep82 has a ct12 turbo fitted with a few other things like fpr, mani, intercooler, exhaust etc...

just wondering what kind of power people have achieved with this turbo?

Depends on if it is CT12A or CT12B
CT12A should do 200HP
CT12A hybrid should do 250HP
CT12B should do 270HP

These turbos are badly misunderstood power wise.
But they have a big downfall with a max boost of 15-18Psi and do not last under those boost levels.

all i know its a ct12, glad to hear its good for 200hp. will the turbo have the leter "B" or "A" moulded on it?

I supose you would have to get the car mapped to get 200hp out of it... what power do you think it i would have as it is without a map, feels pretty nippy, had a little drag with a 2002 type r and was a dead heat.

That is a confusing question bud.
Some are blank and some say CT12A and CT12B

Best is to have a look at the compressor housing.
Measure the intake of the compressor housing.
If it is 35-36mm then you have the small CT12.

And for the map... Most of the people on here use the standard ECU.
A standard ECU to me is junk!!

Fit a nice stand alone to get the best power out of your engine
