Driveshafts

My car was on the ramp today and noticed that my shafts move in and out when you pull it if you push one the other side moves out i have a trd lsd just wondering if thats ok? It drives fine

There is some movement mate , I would take them out and check for play in the diff if there is ur preload needs set

imo, driveshafts are allowed some freedom of left-right movement (when viewing the car from front or rear, not sideways).. because how else would they compensate for the suspension travel on bumps and potholes if they were rigid/static..?
if you can use your driveshafts as javelins while they are still on the car then that's cause for concern.. :)

The inner CV joints will have a certain amount of movement in the diff carrier, that's perfectly normal. If there was any play in the diff carrier bearings, aside from the noise it would make, chances are the driveshaft oil seals would be leaking transmission fluid.
