Emanage Questions

Guys,

I am about to purchase an emanage ultimate, with a plug and play field harness.
I was just wondering whether or not I would need an afr harness with this also for tuning?
I already have a aem wibeband o2 sensor kit fitted to the car, so will the additional afr harness be necessary?

Thanks

Sure. I decided to go to a different mapper, who suggested the emanage for what I need.
Standalone is always better, but for weekend road car, emu will cover all of my needs.

Decided to keep the car again, no thanks to all you lot on here lol.

What power/ boost you looking for?
I'm going to ask the mapper to push her as far as he can reliably....should be 220 - 230bhp at the fly at least.
The engine feels awesome since its rebuild.... I've put around 3k miles on her since and seems to feel stronger the more it beds in.

I have a é management blue fitted to my Gt got it with the car. I am looking for 200/220 bhp on 1bar wonder will that ecu do?

Have you got it wired it hard wired in or did you use a plug and play harness?
Emanage is old tech, but its been tried and tested over the years with our cars :) . A few people told me they had issues with the emanage forgetting the map...but I can only assume that was down to poor installation.

i can only go from personal experience
i've been using emu since 2007/2008 and never had any issues with it losing any maps
a properly set up piggyback/standalone should not lose any data

the additional afr harness is only necessary if you want to datalog your afr through your emanage ultimate while tuning/driving.
emu has datalogging capabilities---boost, engine speed, injector duty cycle, intake temp, coolant temp, etc.---you can select at your discretion

it would be handy to be able to fully use it to its potential.
A few mates in the south have them and no issues they say either, can get them for buttons too normally 150/200£ I've seen them go for
