The Starbo2 with out cable in picture it won't move when turn control to hot, unless I turn heating speed on and move the part in pic by hand then it stays on hot, when switch speed off or switch car off it moves bk to cold setting on own lolz.
Sorry it sounds confusing o_O

Could I replace the full heating core with matrix from other starlet models? In the auto heating starlet

Thanks Fiz.

Not 100% sure I understand what you mean but if you are getting heat from the system then the heater matrix is more than likely doing it's job.

The temperature of the vents is controlled by a large flap in the heaterbox that diverts the airstream through the matrix core as required. The movement of this is controlled by cables (as in #1) or electronic motors with rods (as in #2) so you may have an issue there. Haven't encountered any trouble with them before (that I can remember).

OK I put my hands up guilty lol.
Think av found the problem, Rod must go between the white clip, basically I forced it with hand bk in December cause heating was poo even tho changed thermostat, put hose pipe to flush little matrix pipes goin out etc.

Thanks Fiz
