I need to purchase new taillights for my 97 glanza V, and it seems very hard to come by the oem taillights (red and amber color only) although there is alot of reflet taillights on ebay, im just wondering if the screw holes are the same in the reflet tailliights as they are in the 97 spec glanza taillights.

Late model kouki taillights look similar to the reflet tailights and I have read that they need to be bonded on as the screw holes are different then the early spec glanzas (96-97)

my 1998 ep91 glanza came with the old specs lights (red and amber color only)...i preferred and bought the new spec lights and installed them...i can't remember having any issues.

i still have the old spec lights which i see you are after in another post, however, shipping would be a major deterrent for you

may be more convenient that you use the later model ep91 lights if you can live with the look

as I live in Canada I will be looking at expensive shipping unfortunately as we dont have any starlets over here aside from kp61. I have come across some on ebay but then on some posts the shipping is over 200 dollars, although on other posts the shipping is more inline at 50 dollars, but then the headlight itself will be like 300 (for one side only)

I want to replace them with the 96 spec lights but if I cant find anything decent then i will resort to buying the reflet lights as they dont look too bad. I was worried about ordering the reflect/kouki spec glanzas and not having the screw holes line up as i read something about that in a similar post, so thank you for clearing that up! Do you remember when you removed the 96 spec lights they were screwed in too? Solving that would surely solve my dilemma.

Yea all interchangeable mate, personally I prefer the early spec :)
thats great news, i also prefer the early spec, it seems alot of people like to swap them out for the kouki spec, both look good in my opinion but i prefer to keep mine oem if i can manage
