Exhaust manifold too hot and turn to red color

My car is having problem with the manifold. Its getting red hot. AFR is ok. Tunning is ok. Presently I am having 2.25 inch dia exhaust piping. Do I need to increase the dia of piping ?

What turbo are you using and what is your AFR?

also, what manifold are you running?

i can get my manifold to glow red in a quarter mile if i drive it flat out.

check if you cat or resonator isnt restrictive or blocked.

This happens to me as well.

I am on old stuff but it's still going. Toytuning hybrid with the Toy tuning manifold. Jam ECU. on the AEM wideband at WOT once the boost is above 10psi the AFR is at a flat 10.

Your running bog rich at 10AFR, that will cause u bore wash and a big power loss.

u should be running 11.5 to 12 afr.

but manifold glowing red is kinda pretty much the norm, imo it really isnt anything to worry about.
