Exhaust size for T25 Turbo elbow downpipe

Hello

My name's ChinGy and I'm from the YarisClub. I am planning on fitting a T25 turbo to my Yaris T Sport. I thought I'd come here to ask for advice seeing that there are more turbo users on here and I think Starlets are pretty cool.

The 1NZ-FE engine inside the T Sport wasn't build for power, so I'm only planning on running 0.4 bar of boost.
I'm looking to get the downpipe custom made. The weird question is, is there anything wrong with having a 3" elbow with reducers going down to a 2" exhaust? or would that be overkill and could lead to boost creep. Should I go for 2.75" or even 2.5" eblow?
I see most people with the T25 turbo start with 2.5"/3" elbow going to a larger exhaust (3"). I like the idea of larger elbow for faster spool, but I don't want to change my whole exhaust system.
