Considering I've found a stock 1997 UK 1.3 Toyota Starlet with full service history, one owner and everything you need for £900, I was thinking whether or not it would be worth converting the exterior to look like a Glanza (only 17...insurance is a pain for Glanza, but very low on the ordinary Starlet).
I'm not too bothered about having 100% genuine JDM parts, but basically want a solid-looking body kit: probably a hood too, getting rid of the ugly front lights and installing decent rims.
What sort of money will I be looking at to do this? Including painting the kit (bear in mind that the kit will have to be colour-matched to a white car).
I don't want to pour too much money into the car mainly because I'd lose most of it at resale :flame:, but I think I saw a '97 Silver Glanza replica go for £2,500 on Pistonheads (assuming they were paid the asking price).
