fault 52 knock sensor

just did a diagnostics test, fault 52 knock sensor came up , this mean it needs replaced?

check it 1st, perhaps a wire has gone loose or the plug came off.. but for the knock sensor to go there are other problems.. is ur car tuned propperly dude?

DONT drive it with the knock sensor fucked.. its not a good idea..

I had the same problem with my gt a while back. The car used to go into limp mode and the engine warning light would come on.
Like hybrid said, check the wiring etc. My k-s wire got trapped between something in the engine bay and snapped.

ditto, mine got a small nick in the wiring as the engine was re-installed...was rerouted the completely wrong way

well got emanage ultimate fitted wit all harnesses and knock sensor adapter, em light comes on now and then not constantly on

in that case it prob means ur detontaing.. id check that map out...

either that or a faulty connection if ur sure the map is spot on

it is very random, if i turn iginition off then on it goes away, it was mapped by thor racing
