Finally got round to painting my bits :) White EP82 GT

Well, as a lot of people know my Starlet has been a labour of love LOL.

Im in the middle of a restore and decided to go all out,

So I have painted and fitted a few bits back.

Heres the car at the minute, repainted front bumper, splitter, bonnet and wings

Repainted Master cylinder and strut bar

finally got round to fitting my polybush engine mounts (thinks mike)

and stuck some bits on mi engine (GT sticker and rocker breather LOL)

Hey Rage,

Gear box is fully white with linkages and brackets Harliquin Blue

I am in the process of fabricating a heat shield for the turbo/manifold which will allow my extractors to protrude. I will be making my own mani then sending it off to get ceramically coated. (chrome)

as for the rest of the engine, various bits white and other bits Hariquin blue

I did paint (with a brush) the block silver and it looks absolutely crap! I want to forge the whole thing so Im going to buy all the parts etc then do the block 040 white but heat resistant.......I know normal paint will do the job but I can get paint very very cheap and to any spec I want

be carefull with so much white while building it mate if you leak some fuel over it and don;t spot it the paint will peel and turn yellow.

best way to pain the engine bits is to take it all apart. you can then propperly derust and clean the bits:

and a couple of wire brushes for a drill work like a charm. be sure to get a couple of diffrent sizes and models to get to the small nooks and crannies
