i have an autobahn 88 front mount. its very good and fits well but i don't like how the pipes go over the manifold and turbo as some come from the left of the ct9 this comes from the right and loops over. not a good i dea i don't think so i have wrapped mine in thermo tape.

is it possible to rotate the ct9 to point downwards and cut out the piping which goes over the manifold??....i guess some custom work may be required...but i dont know how easy it would be for u

Anyone got some pictures of the HDi FMIC on a GT, pref mk1..

I got a swapped ep81 4efte and mk1 bodykit, but I can't seem to figure out how to nicely mount it...

got my core from rallydesign in uk, and fabricated my own piping

the core is 60cm length (without the end tanks) x 16 x 7 and has 70mm diameter intake an out (which is a bitch)

its a nice solution if u are willing to get your hands dirty

Some picture to help people decided between Hdi and Wepr. I brought both to compare.

I would say the qualilty of the Wepr one is alot better, also the pipes are stainless.
The Hdi's Core is VERY heavy, and the pipe work feels cheap, and very light.
Only downside to Wepr's one is the couplings/joiners are very cheap, but can easily be replaced by silicion hoses.

Hope this helps anyone that stumbles on this thread :)
I decided on Wepr in the end.

Spot on there mate with everything, have to agree the wepr quality is awesome, but i decided on hdi in the end as it had a bigger core, repped! :)

is anyone running one of wepr's bigger cored kits? im still split on what intercooler to buy. in an ideal world, Ide love the wepr kit, but with the core just a bit longer, just short of the length of the hdi. or could say it the other way around, a hdi kit, with a thinner core to avoid all that cutting, I cant stand the look of it.

I had my WEPR kit modified. The joiners were uprated and the pipes that run underneath were extended. Some additional welds were put on the core too to make it completely solid.

to be honest i wouldn't go any bigger than that, I had a smaller one before. only reason I've changed is cause it was broken...

here is a pic of the previous one (the girl doesn't come with it sorry...)

My turbo outlet pipe to intercooler is good. Its 2 inches. But the intercooler is bloody big as well as the pipe work post intercooler which is 3 inches in diamatre.

Im thinking of getting rid of the big ass intercooler and fit a galant VR4 intercooler. Cos the one i have is good for a 450-500hp car.

To those people with bar and plate intercoolers, these are the worst type of intercoolers. Tube and fin is better.

You actually get air flowing throught a tube and fin, whereby the air will smack the bar and plate intercooler and rebound back, or up and down, sideways. Waste of time really. So yeah, no matter how large or shiney your bar and plate is, it will always be inferior in performance gain.
