Holy shet.

After reading this and the figures people are writing, how low of oil pressure are you people using, must be something wrong. My 4G63 (race engine) has 100psi oil pressure on revs. And people here bare talking only like 15psi ish, fark me.

4e engines @ 3000 rpm are aloud to be as low as 25psi and as high as 75psi (from top of my head), much more and chances are the seals will be pissing out all over the shop lol.

Runs alright, got a slight miss, but I imagine that's a knackered sensor somewhere.

Mot on the 11th mate. So it should be all good :D

Savage mate. :( I hate it when that's happens. I'll look after her though (y) already had 2 oil changes and it hasn't even moved yet!

i used a 4e reief valve when i did mine and it was fine

4e and 5e relief valves are the same. I remember reading on tercel online that some of the guys there tend to fit a washer thats at least 2mm thick. I think im gonna go with 1.5 mm washer.

6 BAR COLD = 1500RPM
3.5 BAR WARM IDLE = 1100RPM

1.5mm washer in mine

Hope this helps

5e's minimum oil pressure Warm Idle is 4.7psi according to the Toyota Manufacturers

is that right? 4.7 psi? thats barely .4 bar? seems very low pressure.
