Front Caliper Rebuild kit

I have the same brand off rebuild kit on my Gt, the genuine Toyota rebuild kits you are only paying more for the packaging

They are very easy to rebuild just take your time. Give yourself lots off time to do them.

It is the rear calipers that are a right bxxxh

Thanks. I’ll get some ordered.
I had the rears rebuilt a few months back…wasn’t brave enough to rebuild them myself lol…but would definitely like to have a go at rebuilding the front ones.

Yea handy job bud, the retainer clip can be a nuisance at times tho.
How I normally do them,
Loosen both caliper bolts and remove the bottom 1. Lift caliper up clear then tighten the top up again so they are "in the air" . Pump the pedal now 1 pump at a time and check the pistons each time, if 1 is coming more than the other I normally stick a bit of skirting board in to even them up. Once they are out a bit you should be able to remove the calipers and pull them on out on the bench to strip the seals out.

Did you order a kit yet? Bigg red, Brake parts or Toyota
The rebuild kit for my 4 pot celica calipers is 40 a side all seals and 4 pistons from Brake parts.
If your pistons are a bit shabby looking you can normally bring them up again with some fine sandpaper :)
