Front Side Exit Exhaust

Just wondering if there are any advantages (Faster spool up?) or disadvantages (Noisy?) concerning front side exit exhaust, see quite a lot of members have them. Sorry if this is already covered somewhere else?

thanks

no real advantage that i noticed just very loud realy, lol love mine though will never go back to a full system, i had lots of issues with full systems banging on my lsd so i went to front exit :D

I am thinking of doing the same myself but I want mine to be on the passenger side of the car and I have a baffle to so it ant going to be all that loud. Well I hope so :)

Im pretty sure road vehicle safety laws states that all vehicles fitted with a side exit exhaust, must have its fumes pointing out of the drivers side. Many factors are involved, but picture this: your walking on the pavement and a a car, bus, lorry, etc was crawling passed and their exhaust fumes were blowing inyour direction constaintly as you walk. it would be the same even if you changed to the other side of the road. if its on the drivers side the, the exhaust flow will get disturbed and will have a less impact on pedestrians or even cyclist who are ment to cycle on the left.

mine is on the pass side.. in my everyday car, i find it ok.. it used to creep tho.. so i out a silencer in nd doesnt creep now nd a bit quieter on low revs.. but full throttle is sounds like air pushing out the smaller hold... hard th explain.. i prefer no silencer...
