Fuel cut on standard boost???

Have a standard gt starlet ep82 no engine mods at all and still has cat,tmic etc..when car comes on boost it seems too hit fuel cut why is this? I have no boost gauge but actuator was set too .65 bar in my glanza which does have a boost gauge and then fitted too my gt..any help appreciated

an adjustable actuator sounds like a mod to me. you need a boost gauge to see what is happening.

I checked what the actuator was boosting on my glanza which has a boost gauge? was boosting too .65

^ your car /turbo might have a craaack in the wastegate and be spiking refit the stock actu !! and buy a boostgauge before refitting it

Each car has a personality.. even if they are the same make, model and year. No two (similar) cars will ever perform the same. All has already been said. You need engine monitoring before you can be helped in any manner.. :)

I'd tap a boost gauge in so you can see what the actuator is boosting on your setup.

For the mean time, try winding it down a bit.
