fuel type , octane 95 or 90 ?

hi all , can any one tell me which fuel will be better to the engine fuel with octane 95 or 90 ? im using 95 octane but it is very expensive so i want to try octane 90 .
what is the desadvantge of octane 90 ?

Unless mapped on octane 90 stay clear.

Really on a standard gt 95 you 'may' get bit of detting

well our normal pump fuel locally is rarely over 92octane... as mentioned above it all depends how ur starlet is tuned.. low grade octance can cause detonation (knocking) which could be fatal to your engine.. however this is not always the case.. it just depends how your car is setup...

if you use 90 ron then it would be a good idea to either mix it with a good addetive, (find one with a low toulene concentrate) or mix 50/50 with racing fuel...

Just to let you know that my engine cracked a piston, again, this time number 1 piston due to 95 octane fuel.

who even sell's 90, i have never seen it and would never buy it.

tesco suprisingly have the best fuel and my gt runs well good on it, its 99 octane where as v power and bp's top one is 98.

even when i put totals expencive one in it is 97 and my car dont run as good. so cant imagin how shit it must run on 90!

humm the octane 95 it is about 25$ for 20 litters , and 17$ for 20 litters of octane 90 ,
