well tbh mate i was going to just go to a mapper who likes whatever ecu ive chosen

so that doesent really matter to me

if you get what i mean

you would be better off doing it the other way round to be honest with you mate, to many people will say they will map whatever you give them, and then do a rubbish job.

or you might end up with someone who just does a rubbish job.

it really is ideal to use someone you trust and have formed a relationship with.

trust me i have learnt the hard way in the past mate

i have noticed ye are all on about emerald, link, motec etc. and no mention of ther apexi power fc ecu, just wondering why is this?and do you not rate this ecu up with th rest of these ecus?

it has been mentioned, and as far as standalones go it's actually not as good as the other standalones that have been mentioned.

but for plug and play it is the best

if it were me I would go for one of the link G4s. loads of features like launch control, antilag, flat shift, built in map sensor so you don't have to worry about sorting that out. also have boost control and traction control aswell I think! :)

thor racing will supply, fit and map... they are quite expensive in the long run, depends how much you want to spend really :)

G4 storm is about 820 and they have to make a wiring loom which they charge 160 for. so £980. will just have to add mapping costs on top. but im sure you could strike a deal with them :)
