So bought myself some nice cut footwell lights and I was thinking about making a loom for them but unsure which plugs to get.
A picture of what i think is the correct loom

I think the loom connects between the following plug:

Ye already have a full loom with footwell lights and barrel light. Just looking for the plugs to make a loom to be honest. Only problem is I do not know how the loom should look like for the glanza or which plug is used by the plug n play set.

Every plug on these is individual, meaning if another 1 looks the same as another with pins etc it still won't fit :) my guess would be somewhere in the driver/passenger side foot well panels you'd imagine they would plug in

For what amount of time is are the footwell light kept on? I heard something about the footwell lights and ignition light remains lit for about 7 seconds and the ignition barrel on its own remaining lit for about 30 seconds?

Anyone with a facelift glanza which has the pnp footwell lights? Also appreciate anyone with a facelift glanza checking if they have the 8 pin connector in there right side panel?

I did find the 8 pin plug underneath my dash in the center, which I found kinda strange?

I'm sure you have the correct connector there that's where the loom setup was plugged into on the 96 glanza i had the 98 i have now was just done in typical Japanese fashion and scotch locked

That was my initial though, but then again it seemed to have 3 rows of pins instead of 2. I'll check one more time tomorrow this is going to be the 5th time probably o_O . Mine does seem to have been tapped from that connector a while back.

It is next to this connector:

After a bit more digging it seems the facelift loom is different, at least the one in mine is different.
This is what should be there:

I did remove the blue plug which turned of the interior lighting but haven't found the connectors for the door switch.

@starletsy cloud you check the plug yours is tapped into?

Just minded, I found the footwell lights in the GT when I had the dash out tucked up into the loom lmfao, they dont work nor the Interior when the door opens :)

Just having my doubts my loom is what it should be, at least it is swapped in a pretty decent way since everything works fine.

Just need to find the loom where the door switch goes to. Haven't got that one yet. Only checked if the door open warning stayed on or off when the door was open closed.

After speaking with a few facelift owners it seems the glanza v facelift has a different arrangement of the plugs, but may still be using the same plug with the location being unknown.

Any facelift glanza v owners with wired in looms can show there setup? @starletsy ?

Unfortunately a while back my footwell lights stopped working so I don't have the delay functionality on them any more.
Something in here is wrong but I'm a little out of my depth when it comes to circuit boards.20210801_194454.jpg20210801_194529.jpg

Could be a lot of things maybe the capacitor doesn't charge anymore(mostly these die by popping open). Transistors can go after a while or if they get too hot.

Thanks Simon, yeah the blue plug is commonly used by the Na starlet owners to tap from.

When I checked the optional extras brochure for the glanza v facelift also included the footwell lights.

Probably going to trace the red white wire and see if there is another plug maybe. I know socks had the same loom and maybe knows where the facelift plugs are to be found. When I disconnected the blue plug the interior light didn't function anymore but the door switch did. I think there is another plug somewhere that is still connecting the door switch and this could be the 8 pin plug. Another option could be that I do not fully understand the way the door switches function.

One above is a loom for the 96 spec, may be true they made it like the mrs. Would be interesting to get someone with a 98 spec which had them from the factory. Or maybe someone with the 96 spec fitted and the location of the plug.
