glanza not running right

Friend of mine having bit of bother with his Glanza.
He's had it off the road over winter, kept in a shed. He had it out last month and was driving fine. He just started it every few days since then and let it warmed up.
Took it out last week and its not running right now.
Once you get into 2nd gear at low revs it starts jumping and missing. At higher revs its ok.
The oil light comes on at low revs and goes off then at higher revs. There is oil in it.
When ticking over it seems perfect, engine runs fine and smooth.

We tried my king lead on it earlier but it still ran the same. Havent done a diagnostics test yet.
Any ideas?

clean contact points in cap the micht have gotten corroded try that first

If the oil light is coming on then you have an issue with the oil pressure.

would it cause it to struggle as the engine comes under load?
Was hoping it might just be a dodgy sensor or something.
He said car was driving perfect last time it was out but then had these problems this time.

^^^^^ no it wont alter the driving of engine if sensor is fekked but if theres no oil then yes
