Glanza OEM diff in N/A box

Wondering if anyones come across this before? Had an oem glanza diff sitting as i dont have a turbo box, long story short blew the diff to bits, stripped the box and planning on fitting the glanza diff in.

Question is can the diff be machined in such a way to take the ring gear as its 6 stud? apposed to the glanza box ring gear being 8 stud?

Cheers!

Probably be safer/cheaper just sourcing a secondhand replacement diff or ring gear to suit TBH.

If something is spinning at speed things can go badly wrong.

Yeah im kinda thinking that way now aswell, i dropped it off this morning and the machinist guy said it can be easy made to fit with an addition of 4 new holes, im guessing it is do-able say if you were to put an aftermarket LSD into a N/A box modification to the diff would still have to happen?

Just for reference, some of the early GT Turbos had a 6 bolt ring gear as well, the 8 bolt version was introduced somewhere before/mid mk2 I think.

I should have a few of both types here somewhere so can have a look at them to compare.

Update on this, everything seems to be staying where its meant too, no nasty vibrations/noises ect under load. See how long it lasts lol
