Glanza Tyre Pressure

Hello all

Does anyone know what the tyre pressure is for a standard Toyota Starlet Glanza V Turbo front tyre. I've had a look at a couple of tyre charts in petrol pumps and they only state Toyota Starlet, which probably means the bog standard model.

Many thanks

the recommended tyre pressure is the same for most cars. I usually put 30-32 in both front and rear depending on weather, 30 for warmer weather and 32 for colder, for the simple fact that heat makes air expand so the 30 is to take that into account, It's not as stupid of a question that you or other people might think.

the simple fact is that under inflated tyres can cause the car to handle worse than over inflated tyre can, although it is dangerous to do both,

OK under-inflated tyres.

because the tyre is under-inflated the side walls become alot more susceptible to transitional load transfer. basically acting like a pendulum. the less tyre pressure in the front tyres more swing your allowing, therefore the more understear your are likely to encounter on left to right connecting bends and visa versa. less tyre pressure can help in initial acceleration but becomes less important when you encounter a bend.
