That's the big silver unit isn't it?

Not sure what is in the stockpile but I can have a look.

Thx Jay. Seems they are getting more rare these days. Did read something about them being error prone, know anything about that? If you can't find any I may try to engineer something that is compatible with the I/O of the controller.

From memory they didn't gave anywhere near the hassle that the Profec B solenoids did.

There's still a few floating around Japan so I'll keep an eye out there too.

4 ports on them and the connection is 9 wires, the Profec B you can run a Mac valve from as it's only 2 wires to the solenoid
The A is an excellent wee unit, completely transformed the way the GT drove, cant wait to get 1 into the Dina and turn it up a bit :)

Is it a pressure sensor and solenoid all in 1? That would account for the ports and wires.

I imagine it's a standard 5v sensor which you could get off the shelf as long as you know the range

The solenoid takes a vac pipe too then passes it to the controller then it does its thing, will get pics soon

Not sure what the bottom port is for I've never found reference to it, even the Greddy instructions dont mention it

im guessing the small port is your vacuum port?

then the other 2 pipes are for the solenoid and the final one is the exhaust?

im not quite sure why it has so many wires though!!!!

Yea the wee 1 goes to the manifold T into the dump valve then the others for turbo nipple and actuator :)
Wires are likely for the pressure sensor and acuation off the solenoid, theres +&- in there too :)

Probably some old tech that required many wires to operate the valve due to a restriction in the controlling unit or bleeding valve back then. Wil check what is inside one of those solenoid ones I get one.

Pressure sensor should be 3 wires, maybe 4 wires at a push, then 2 for the solenoid.

Would be interesting to see what the others are actually for!!!!!?

just did a quick search as I was wondering if it was a stepper motor as opposed to a solenoid.
It appears that it is, which would explain the extra wires ;)
