One that works? Now that's a rare thing lol..

I'm all out. Out of five cars in my drive only one lights up when it should.

Haha..my current one had a mind of its own mate..cleaned it and everything..but didnt make any difference :(

as long as you are getting voltage to the plug when you should the fixture is so basic nothing can really go wrong with it.

its usually just shitty contacts, the rivet connections have worked loose or an issue with the door switches.

The contacts looked like they had seen better days Dunc, as the car was sat for a good while outside. I cleaned them up etc, but it still only works when it feels like. We checked the door switches with a probe (my mates an auto electrician)...and they were working fine, so he said to just try and get a new unit.

i had mine in bits and cleaned up the contacts and re soldered them but it didnt work for much longer. i bought a new one from toyota and its been fine ever since.

I got one from toyota a while back. Can't remember price. Wasn't overly dear tho. If that isn't possible. Solder up the rivet contacts and should sort it.
