There is a guy working under the name rising sun that can remap the mines, you can read more on GTR the skyline forum.

i cant see them leaning out tbh. doesnt matter what octane fuel you use, the fuelling itself will be the same.

the only thing that would cause a problem is that if you get det the ecu will retard the timing to eliminate it.

I ran a Mines ECU in my trackcar on it's last outing.

The wideband was on the car the whole day and we kept a close eye on the readings. Fuelling was perfect and the power was put down quite well. AFR's were low to mid 11's at WOT and the car seemed to be putting out good power. I was quite impressed.

The increased rev limit wasn't such a great feature though and I eventually made a driving error that resulted in piston damage. Was coming down from 100mph into a hairpin and dropped it down the gears slightly too early - the car revved right out and a belch of blue from under the bonnet. Game over.

On reputation alone the Mines is meant to be an aggressive tune. That's why I was getting close eyes on the wideband. The octane is a major factor as already stated above.

so wht is ur advice to me
i have sr20 turbo , steel manifold , sr20 decat , HKS air filter, + 3" down pipe with standard back box , turbo smart control(mbc) , Hi/lo removed , sard oil cap , turbo timer , 1 jz fuel pump , paddle clutch , ngk irrudium sparks plugs heat 7 , 9.5 mm leads , Fmic and fpr ( not using )
using 98 octane which is avalable here
and there is no AFR gauge
so keep the mine's or get back standard one ??

I agree with that post regarding the Mines ecu running lean. Checked the AF of a Jam and Blitz Ecu on a starlet running stock turbo, Spoon ecu on 2 honda integras and full throttle were all running lean. Soon will be checking the AF of the scooby running a Sard Analyze and infact will of be taking this ecu of the car like I did with the others and get a proper ecu. And yes the Octane levels will do a big difference what you'll be using. If you use proper fuelling like the ones the ecus are setup for you wont have problems.... the ones I checked all were running lower level octane fuels and detonation was higher and car was running leaner aswell. Thats my 2cents regarding these ecus.
