I would have expected your insurance company to deal with hers. Even if you are TPFT, they should be dealing with it even if it is a non-fault claim.

they passed my details on to some external company to deal with it but because id spoke to her insurance company direct they wouldnt touch me, was abit of a joke to be honest, it took them a week to give me a call and for them just to tell me this.

Well i finaly got somewere with her insurance company yesterday, what a cock the guy was dealing with my case, he didnt even know the damage to my car, i said to him, have you not fuckin spoke to the garage, and he was like "oh yeah, hang on i'll ring them now" tool, they are going to repair the car anyway, just have to wait for the garage to ring to arrange pick up of the car.

Glad to hear that you finally got some news, glad to hear that they are going to fix it, hopefully they won't take to long to get it sorted.

I have just received the letter from my insurance, confirming that they are writing mine off, that with immediate effect my insurance with them has been cancelled and that they will shortly send me a settlement offer less my excess and the rest of the outstanding insurance payments.

Shame that they let a computer print a standard letter, sharp, to the point and not even a Yours Sincerely or a signature at the bottom. It would be nice if they could be a little polite, maybe even a little sympathy.

you'll have to let me know what the settlement is dude, ive got back a step.

Rang the garage yesterday just to make sure the cock had approved for them to do the repairs and guess what, he hadnt! the girl i spoke to said there was nothing on the system and that the damages were £1700 + VAT! so basically im still no wiser as to wtf is going on. She said the guy at the garage has sent this info over to the insurance company and is awaiting a call from them to find out what they are doing, she said they may write it off depending on value of the car and i just told her, said i only paid £2500 for it and she was saying it could be a total loss then but cant say for sure until they get that phone call.

So Norwich Union are a bunch of cock suckers!
