had my car mapped today

i had my car mapped today. it made 226.9 at 1.05 bar and 189 at .8 bar. my mods are

td04l turbo
custom made manifold
external wastegate
custom made front exit exhaust
370 injectors
front mounted blitz air filter
fmic
fuel pressure reg
walbro fuel pump
hks bov
greddy ecu
greddy boost controller

the mapper recons theres a still a bit more to be had out of it so its booked in again in 2 weeks when ive put a new set of plugs in, thermostat, bigger rad, bigger screamer pipe and uprated engine mounts and im gonna up the boost to maybe 1.2 bar.

wots the most boost people have run on stock internals

Thats a good result at 1 bar mate and a pretty hefty jump from 0.8 to 1 bar.
Think the most is like 1.4 bar on a stock engine although it didnt last long.
 
to be honest with you the exhaust isnt really that loud. when the screamer pipe kicks in its a different story. im really tempted to have it mapped again at 1.2-1.3 but i dunno if i should risk it. my last ep82 was running 1.4 bar on ct9 hybrid and that was fine

He maybe thinks he could add more timing and get more power at that boost, no point in pushing the limits unless you want to change the engine shortly I think.
 
He said when he was adding timing it wasn't making any difference in power. I had this problem last time I had it mapped

Wonder is it blowing the spark out as the cams are still quite open before tdc. You could try a smaller gap, fresh dizzy cap, rotor arm, leads even maybe to get a stronger spark.
 
it was but ive changed it completly now. the wastegate sits next to the power steering pump and the screamer comes out underneath the bumper
